I cannot speak to the accuracy of the content of this self named/described thesis and only the authors and Aphria can speak to that content. What I can do is offer my opinion based on my observation only. You will note that I underlined the word “thesis”. They could have referred to this published piece as many different things … but they chose to specifically refer to it as a “thesis”. So what does “thesis” actually mean?

According to Dictionary.com:

1. a proposition stated or put forward for consideration, especially one to be discussed and proved or to be maintained against objections

2. a subject for a composition or essay.

What does “proposition” mean? An opinion or suggestion OR “a statement or problem that must be solved or proved to be true or not true”.

From there, Wikipedia states that “a thesis would therefore be a supposition that is stated in contradiction with general opinion … A supposition is a statement or opinion that may or may not be true depending on the evidence and/or proof that is offered”.
