The Remaining Provinces
We expect the remaining provinces and territories to announce their plans shortly and to table legislation between now and in early 2018.
In the event that some provinces and territories are not ready for the recreational market by July 1, 2018, the federal government has indicated that the residents of those provinces will be able to purchase recreational cannabis online directly from federally licensed producers until such time as their Province or territory enacts its own system for sales and distribution.
