All one need do is remember the words of William Shakespeare because for they say, every why hath a wherefore (The Comedy of Errors). The word “wherefore” quite literally means the “why” behind something. Let’s zero in using that same National Post article.

Whatever marijuana’s health risks, it’s always going to be exponentially safer than Canada’s other legal party drug: alcohol. Alcohol puts more Canadians in the hospital every year than heart attacks. Alcohol is also a major contributor to virtually every violent crime imaginable. Half of all murderers had been drinking at the time of their offence, according to a 2014 meta-analysis. Roughly half of all sex assaults also involve alcohol in some form, according to U.S. stats. As social acceptance of pot increases — and as cannabis-infused drinks become more popular — it may start becoming gauche to show up to a party with whiskey or beer. After all, why throw back a few cans of crime-juice when a mellower chemical alternative is available?

That is one but paragraph extracted from that well written and researched yet somewhat polarizing article. I have always said in this industry that ROI is ancillary or collateral. Likewise, how often have you heard (or read in this case) me state that the key to true meaningful investment success is through connecting the dots and well ahead of the pack?
