Thanks Louis. Pleasure being here as an avid reader of the magazine.

I am very excited about today’s guest. I have followed ScientusPharma for a few years now- (in many ways for our purposes here HydRx and ScientusPharma are used interchangeably. Har, I cannot thank you enough for this interview and I look forward to seeing both yourself and Ian again in the near future.

Since I did touch on it in my introduction, can you take a moment to succinctly bring our readers to speed on the distinction between ScientusPharma Inc and HydRx Farms Ltd … the distinction and the relationship please …

There were two legacy businesses, CannScience and HydRX farms that merged to create Scientus Pharma. CannScience was an R&D company which started at the MARs building laboratories located at University Health Network, in Toronto. HydRx Farms was a “bricks and mortar” company, based out of Whitby , ON, and had established strong manufacturing capabilities within the cannabis space. Both companies shared a vision that is to produce pharma grade product and given the the two companies complement each other and merged at the beginning of 2017 to form Scientus Pharma. HydRX farms currently owns the LD license for cannabis on behalf of the entire company, but that will eventually be moved over to the parent company Scientus Pharma.
