I have also noticed another trend that we predicted for some time – a decline of paid promoters, influencers, and hobbyists. As Cannabis in Canada garnishes greater acceptance with greater awareness we see more relevant accurate information by experts and professionals and it is crowing out the advertorials and curator marketing pieces. Much like the clocks in most of the country, the industry is truly moving ahead. It will be interesting to see
how many of these individuals can make a successful transition and how many either become irrelevant or simply move on to a new young industry and start over.
