Licensed Producers are expanding their cannabis delivery method offerings beyond the traditional dry flower, oils, and vaporizers, in an effort to grow their market and capture a share of this “other or alternative” delivery method. As we’ve seen in recent months, companies like The Hydropothecary Corporation (TSX-V:THCX) released a THC mist, Canopy Growth Corporation (TSE:WEED) introduced gel capsules to their product line in an effort to capture their share of the market for these other delivery methods. Ongoing research and product development has also been witnessed with the likes of Lifestyle Delivery Systems Incorporated (CSE:LDS) sublingual “breath strip” style method, Lexaria Biosciences Corporation (OTC:LXRP, CSE:LXX) through its partnership with Neutrisci International (TSX-V:NU) and their development of a dissolvable chewable capsule/pill, and Canopy Growth Corporation partnering with Delivra Corporation (CSE:DVA) to develop a topical pain relief cream.

We are even seeing junior mining companies get in on the action with CNRP Mining Inc. (CSE:CND, OTC:CRPGF) announcing an LOI to acquire X-SPRAYS, a company focused on oral sprays to deliver medicines, nutrients and vitamins. Its product line includes both hemp and CBD products with intent to expand its product offering to include THC infused sprays.
