What is Bullion ? Bullion is a term used to describe any product produced from a precious metal whose value is determined almost exclusively by its precious metal content . Bullion is priced in conjunction with current market “ spot ” value plus a premium for fabrication and shipping costs .
How do I open an account with Canadian Bullion Services ? Opening an account is easy and will take approximately 15 minutes of your time . Simply call one of our Account Executive and we will be happy to help you get started .
What Forms of payments does Canadian Bullion Services accepts when opening an account ? We accept the following payments : certified cheques , money orders , cheques and bank wire transfers .
How do I buy or sell precious metals ? Contact our Account Executive and we will be happy to service you . Provided there is sufficient equity / funds in your account all orders will be executed immediately .
What do I receive once an order has been executed ? A purchase confirmation will be sent to you via email indicating all the details of your purchase , including , the type of precious metal , the number of ounces , the purchase price , the credit balance if applicable and the related commissions .
Where are the precious metals purchased from ? The precious metals are purchased from recognized wholesale suppliers .
In which currency should I buy precious metals ? Precious metals are only bought and sold in US currency ( USD ).
Do I have to fund my account in US dollars ? No , at Canadian Bullion Services funds will be accepted in both Canadian and US currencies . Upon receipt we will convert your CAD into USD for you at our preferred rates .
Can I take delivery of my precious metals ? Absolutely ! This option is available at any time . Simply contact our Account Executive , ensure that your account is settled in full , and provide the appropriate delivery details . Minimal delivery charges will apply .
What are the storage costs ? Storage is available at a rate of half a percent ( 0.5 %) per year of the total metal value .
