Self drive with AVIS
If you are looking for the independence of travelling at your own pace, a
car rental is the best way to go. Driving in Canada and Alaska is very easy;
the roads are well maintained and clearly marked for excellent driving
conditions. Travelling by car will allow you to visit places that are not
accessible by tour or local transportation.
You can choose from a variety of self-drive options throughout this
brochure or one of our Canada and Alaska travel specialists can put
together a customized itinerary for you. Avis has convenient depot locations
throughout Canada and Alaska and offers high quality vehicles with a wide
range to choose from.

Terms and Conditions:
Rates include: unlimited kilometres, Loss Damage Waiver (LDW), mandatory taxes, fees and
surcharges, and one additional driver fee.
Rates do not include: LDW deductible, personal accident insurance (PAI), personal effects
protection (PEP), fuel, one-way fees, baby seats, ski racks. Optional products are extra.
Rental period: a daily rate is based on a 24-hour time period, Avis allows a 29-minute grace
period.
Garmin GPS Navigation Units: these units are available to rent for an additional fee. Rates
are available on request or they can be rented locally subject to availability.
