Canada MedLaser Get Rid of Acne Permanently | Page 4
Normally, skin acne forms when dead cells of the skin, oil deposits, and microbes
(porphyrins) fill up the skin pores. If the blockage by these deposits gets deep into
the skin, tissues are affected, and this can also translate to a serious inflammation.
The inflammations burst and in the end results in lesions. In deep sited lesions, the
bursting also affects the surrounding tissues. Since the body is naturally protective,
it will form collagen to try fixing the damage. For this reason, the texture of your
skin changes drastically. This may mean some slight cuts and depressions on your
skin (what we call scars). The scars can take either an atrophic form or a
hypertrophic form. The latter occurs when excessive collagen is secreted by your
body. This cause skin bumps and ridges. As for the former, some tissues are lost
when the skin is trying to heal. Instead of bumps, the results are depressions.
