DAY 1 Fly to Calgary
On arrival transfer by shuttle to Banff which sits amidst a seemingly endless landscape of soaring mountains , pristine forests and turquoise glacial lakes . You ’ ll stay at the magnificent Fairmont Banff Springs , which has been providing legendary hospitality for over 130 years .
DAY 2 Banff
This charming town and surrounding national park offer lots of ways to fill your time . Maybe take the Banff Gondola to the summit of Sulphur Mountain for mesmerising views , follow a hiking trail , or browse the shops and galleries of picturesque Banff Avenue before lunch on the patio of a top-class restaurant .
DAY 3 Banff / Lake Louise
Transfer by shuttle to mesmerising Lake Louise and the iconic Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise , which sits beside the glistening water . If you ’ re not content to simply stroll and absorb the vistas , there are numerous seasonal activities to keep you on your toes .
DAY 4 Lake Louise / Jasper
Join an Icefields Parkway discovery tour for a day of scenic splendours . You ’ ll also venture onto the surface of the Athabasca Glacier in a specially designated Ice Explorer vehicle for a spectacular adventure . You can also experience the Glacier Skywalk , a glass-floored observation platform that extends out over the Sunwapta Valley . Your base is the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge , which wraps around the shores of Lac Beauvert .
DAY 5 Jasper
A full day at leisure in this charmingly rustic town with its backdrop of towering mountain peaks and quaint streets lined with shops , bakeries and restaurants . The alpine wilderness of Jasper National Park offers dramatic sights and memorable experiences aplenty , such as kayaking on the azure-blue waters of majestic Maligne Lake . From day hikes and mountain biking to scenic drives and picnics by crystal-clear lakes , there is so much to see and do .

DAY 6 Jasper / Rocky Mountaineer ( Kamloops )
Transfer to the rail station and board the Rocky Mountaineer and settle in for the day ’ s journey to Kamloops in the heart of the British Columbia Interior . As you journey west and south , you will be surrounded by the incredible scenery of the Continental Divide and by the river valleys of the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains . Along the way , you ’ ll spy Mount Robson , Pyramid Falls and the North Thompson River . On arrival in Kamloops disembark and transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay .
DAY 7 Rocky Mountaineer / Vancouver
Rejoin the train this morning and settle back as it travels west towards the Pacific Ocean . Admire the everchanging vistas be it the desert-like environment of the Interior , winding river canyons , pristine forests , sky-high mountains or lush green fields of the Fraser Valley . On arrival in Vancouver , you ’ ll transfer to your hotel , the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver which holds a prime downtown location just minutes from big attractions .
DAY 8 Vancouver
This city is very easy on the eye thanks to a glittering landscape of oceans and mountains as well as eclectic neighbourhoods . It ’ s very walkable and we highly recommend a stroll around Stanley Park , Chinatown and Gastown . The Granville Island Market on nearby Granville Island is well worth a visit too .
DAY 9 Vancouver / Victoria
Travel by ferry across to Vancouver Island and the quirky city of Victoria . Where better to rest your head than the Fairmont Empress which majestically perches at the cornerstone of Victoria ’ s Inner Harbour .
DAY 10 Victoria
With a nod to its English Heritage , Victoria is filled with gardens and seafront parks , stately homes and museums , bohemian eateries and craft breweries . It ’ s also the gateway to the legendary Butchart Gardens .
DAY 11 Victoria
Transfer back to Vancouver where the tour concludes with your onward journey .
