DAY 1 Fly to Toronto
On arrival , make your own way to your hotel and after meeting your tour director , the rest of the day is free .
DAY 2 Toronto
Meet fellow travellers before discovering Canada ’ s most cosmopolitan city . After seeing the provincial parliament buildings , the waterfront , the CN Tower and lively Chinatown , head for the Niagara Peninsula and Niagara Falls . Enjoy time to admire the falls and take part in some of Niagara Falls numerous activities ( extra cost ).
DAY 3 Toronto / Ottawa
Drive east towards Ottawa , winding through rolling farmland and following the rivers and lakes of the Rideau Waterway . Upon arrival in Ottawa , enjoy a sightseeing tour of sights such as the UNESCO listed Rideau Canal , the government buildings on Parliament Hill , Byward Market and City Hall .
DAY 4 Ottawa / Québec City
Travel along the scenic Ottawa River to the province of Québec , skirting the magnificent Laurentians and following the Chemin du Roy past Québecois villages to Québec City . Tour within the old city walls , view the ornate city gates , Lower Town , the Citadel and more .
DAY 5 Québec City
At leisure to further explore . You may wish to take an optional full day excursion to Tadoussac for three hours of whale watching on the St Lawrence River ( extra cost ).
DAY 6 Québec City / Montréal
Drive along the St Lawrence River in the footsteps of early settlers . Upon reaching Montréal , tour the second largest French-speaking city in the world which boasts a curious blend of history and modernity . View the Olympic Complex , charming Old Montréal , McGill University , Mount Royal and the bustling shopping streets .
DAY 7 Montréal / Toronto
En route to Toronto stop in Rockport for an optional cruise through the beautiful 1000 islands ( extra cost ).
DAY 8 Toronto / Calgary
Transfer to Toronto airport for a flight to Calgary . Upon arrival , transfer to your hotel .
DAY 9 Calgary / Banff National Park / Canmore
Set out early to tour Calgary , admiring landmarks such as the Calgary Tower and Fort Calgary . Travel on to the Rocky Mountains and experience their majesty as you first travel through the foothills and then enter Banff National Park . Tour the region around Banff amidst snow-capped peaks , sparkling glaciers and emerald green lakes and see Bow Falls and Tunnel Mountain .
DAY 10 Canmore / Banff National Park
The entire day is at leisure to tour Banff area and browse through the many boutiques and specialty shops along Banff Avenue . An optional full-day tour is offered to the Columbia Icefield ( extra cost ).
DAY 11 Canmore / Kamloops
Drive along the famed Trans-Canada Highway , following a route charted by the railroad engineers and fur traders of the mid 1800s . Cross the jagged Kicking Horse Pass into Yoho National Park , for a dazzling display of vast icefields , deep canyons , dense forests and glacier-fed streams . Continue through the Monashee and Selkirk mountain ranges to the rugged town of Kamloops .
DAY 12 Kamloops / Whistler
Look forward to a day of dramatic scenery changes on the drive through the ranch lands as you head for the coastal mountains . An optional floatplane sightseeing tour over Garibaldi Park gives you an inspiring view of a natural preserve of volcanic peaks , alpine lakes and meadows ( extra cost ). The rest of the day is at leisure .
DAY 13 Whistler / Vancouver
Drive along the spectacular Sea-to-Sky Highway through a dramatic landscape of jagged fjords and glaciated mountain peaks . On arrival in Vancouver a sightseeing tour includes Stanley Park , Prospect Point , English Bay , historic Gastown , bustling Chinatown and much more .
DAY 14 Vancouver
