Unmissable New Brunswick & Prince Edward Island Experiences
Atlantic Canada- New Brunswick & Prince Edward Island

New Brunswick & Prince Edward Island

Coastal drives, culture, cuisine & oodles of charm
New Brunswick’ s Bay of Fundy region is home to the world’ s highest tides and best experienced at Hopewell Rocks Provincial Park, where you can walk around giant sea stack monoliths at low tide, then watch the seawater soar up around them. The power of the tide is also visible in Saint John at the Reversing Rapids, a unique phenomenon created by the collision of the Bay of Fundy and the Saint John River. Discover New Brunswick’ s urban side in its riverside capital Fredericton or, walk the narrow streets of historic Saint John before relaxing in a café or microbrewery. Other New Brunswick treasures include Miramichi for world-class salmon fishing, Moncton for its tidal bore and French Acadian culture; and where better to dig into seafood delights than Shediac, hailed as the“ Lobster Capital of the World”. Prince Edward Island may be Canada’ s smallest province, but it has many delights, from invigorating ocean adventures and incredible red sand beaches to green pastoral landscapes. Its capital, Charlottetown was where Canada was founded, so there’ s history aplenty amidst its graceful homes, colourful storefronts and charming lighthouses. The town of Cavendish is a special place for lovers of Anne of Green Gables and it’ s easy to see why author LM Montgomery was inspired in this magical setting. Prince Edward Island is also known for its breathtaking coastal drives, each dishing up a medley of island scenery, quaint towns, fruitfilled orchards and historic sites.
