UTS leads pack of Australian unis
in THE’s Top 150 Under 50.

ineteen Australian universities have scored places in the Times Higher Education
(THE) ranking of the Top 150 institutions under 50 years old.
These rankings are based on performance in five areas: teaching (the learning
environment); research (volume, income and reputation); citations (research influence);
international outlook (staff, students and research); and industry income (innovation).
The best-performing young university in Australia was the University of
Technology Sydney, which placed 21, the same spot it held last year. UTS
vice-chancellor professor Attila Brungs told Campus Review he was “utterly
delighted” at this outcome.
