The COO reports directly to the Vice- Chancellor and is a key member of the Senior Management Team. The COO provides strategic leadership, and planning and management across the University’ s operational functions and capital developments. The COO leads a team of senior managers responsible for finance, information technology, property services, accommodation, student services, risk management and planning and funding. The current campus development plan includes a major capital works programme of $ 600m. The role of the COO reaches across all aspects of the University, managing resources and planning for the future in accordance with the University’ s vision in an increasingly competitive global environment.

The Faculty of Law of University of Macau is the oldest law school in Macao and plays a very important role in preparing jurists who are familiar with Macao S. A. R. legal system, as well as, educating jurists who are competent in legal research and practices in Macau law, international law and comparative law. The Faculty of Law presently offers undergraduate degrees and postgraduate degrees to both local and international students.
Preference will be given to applicants with strong evidence of research achievement, which shall be substantiated by publication in referred journals of international standing. Applicants who are bilingual will also receive preference.
