Victoria University’ s outcomes in the recent‘ Excellence in Research for Australia( ERA)’ assessment identifi ed the research areas of human movement and sports science, electrical and electronic engineering, pharmacology and pharmaceutical science as‘ well above world standard’ with an ERA ranking of 5.
Through our research we engage with other universities and organisations to make change and contribute to the world through practical and applied outcomes that can be used by business, industry and the community.
Our research was also ranked‘ above world standard’ in applied mathematics and medical physiology with an ERA ranking of 4.
Building on our existing strengths, we aim to be world renowned in sport, exercise and active living, disease prevention and management.
