How iPads & social media create a vibrant camp experience, all year round.
It happens every time I attend a conference. I’ ll meet someone from another camp; they’ ll ask me what my job is, and I’ ll tell them I’ m the Manager of Customer Experience and Marketing for B’ nai B’ rith Beber Camp. Most people have never heard of my position, and if they have, they don’ t completely grasp what I do.
A major part of my job is to maintain our Internet presence so that our camp community members can remain connected to Beber Camp all year long. I have additional responsibilities as well. During the summer, I deliver our hobby curriculum. Year round, I do all of our design work in house, and I work closely with parents to help them with filling out forms any other customer service issues they might have. I know that not many camps have a full-time person doing this job, but here’ s why, perhaps, more camps should.
