Welcome to the 51st year of the Association ’ s camping guide , Camping in Ontario . We have proudly hosted campers for the past 50 years , and we hope to continue to help people find their perfect spot for the next 50 years . The way we camp today is quite different than it was 50 years ago , but our reasons for going camping have not changed . Camping is a great way to reconnect with nature and escape the city , all with the comfort of your own equipment . If you are new to camping , you will quicky learn to love the star-filled sky and the warmth of a campfire .
Much has changed around the world in 2020 , and the Association has made changes as well . Our campground members are working tirelessly to make sure you have the safest possible camping holiday by following the best safety practices . For health and safety reasons , we will publish the directory only in digital format this year . Under the current circumstances , we decided that this was the best and safest course of action .
We hope you find this guide , our website or our brand-new app CampON to be helpful tools for planning your perfect camping trip . Rest assured that whichever platform you pick , we provide the same high-quality information you have relied on for the past 50 years .

A campground is a recreational facility which offers temporary access to the vacationing and travelling public to use individual campsites at a set rate .
Unlike mobile home parks , campgrounds do not offer site use agreements for the purpose of principal / permanent residential occupation .
Campgrounds offer campsites equipped for use by customers providing their own tents or recreational vehicles ( campers , trailers , motorhomes , park model units ) for recreational use . Campgrounds may also offer recreational vehicles or temporary cottage accommodations for a set rate .
Campgrounds may , but are not required to , offer a variety of services to campground guests that support the recreational nature of their business . Campgrounds may also facilitate onsite , non-use storage of recreational vehicles .

Pour des raisons de santé et de sécurité , nous allons publier le répertoire en format numérique seulement cette année . Dans le contexte actuel , nous avons décidé que c ’ était l ’ option la plus sécuritaire et la meilleure .
