Social media accounts are another accessible place through which people can learn about your campaign.
Typically, candidates will create Instagram accounts to host various graphics about their qualifications and platforms. This can be a great way for people who regularly use Instagram to learn about your campaign.
Like with other materials, any posts you want to make must be emailed to the NJCL Parliamentarian( parliamentarian @ njcl. org) before convention. Even if you plan to post them throughout the election( e. g. having a specific post on Friday for the Candidates’ Open Forum), they must be approved by the Parliamentarian beforehand.

NOTE:

Please do NOT create any social media accounts before NomCom. In order to prevent accidental pre-campaigning( e. g. someone from another State searching for and finding your campaign account), do not make any social media accounts before the end of the Nominations Committee meeting when campaigning officially begins.
