G . Requesting a Candidate Withdraw from the Election 1 . A candidate may be asked to withdraw from the election for the following reasons : a . Violation of any of the election rules stated above or in Article V of the Bylaws , or knowingly falsifying a nomination form . b . Violation of the code of conduct during the National Convention . This includes acts of dishonesty during competitions .
2 . The Constitutional Advisor shall bring to the National Committee any accusations against a candidate . Should the Committee deem the matter worthy of further investigation , a three-person panel of National Committee members called by the Committee Vice-Chair shall convene to consider further evidence and meet with the candidate and their adult representatives .
3 . The panel will hold a meeting with the candidate to discuss the accusations . The candidate ’ s State Chair shall also attend , along with the candidate ’ s local sponsor if available . The panel will present the evidence to the candidate and the other adults , at which time the candidate will have the opportunity to present their side of the story .
4 . Following this meeting , the panel shall discuss all the available information and decide on a final course of action . The options shall be : a . Exoneration of the candidate with no further action taken ; b . A reasonable consequence determined by the panel ; c . A request for the candidate to withdraw from the campaign .
5 . If the panel asks the candidate to withdraw , the candidate has the option of withdrawing immediately , with the panel saying nothing more about the incident . If the candidate chooses not to withdraw , then the panel shall inform them that the matter will go to the entire National Committee for review . At that point , the Committee shall hear the evidence from the panel and decide whether or not to remove the candidate from the ballot .
