Also known as NomCom , the Nominations Committee meeting kicks off the election ! Here , you give a short speech about your qualifications and platform to a small audience representing the States at Convention .
A few important notes : Δ
Each State must bring two delegates to this meeting to secure full voting rights ( two votes ).
Δ Candidates should also bring their sponsor and State Chair . Δ
If you plan to run from the floor , this is where you ’ ll be nominated . You must also bring your sponsor and State Chair .
After NomCom ends , you can begin campaigning !
What ’ s new ?
This year , more than two candidates per office can be on the final ballot . This means that everyone nominated at NomCom will be on the final ballot and get to campaign .
DINNER WITH THE PARLIAMENTARIAN
6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
After NomCom , head over to the 3rd floor of the Rocky Top Dining Hall for a dinner with your fellow candidates and the Parliamentarian !
