What was your favorite part of preparing for your campaign ?
My favorite part for preparing my campaign was thinking of new ideas . The process of brainstorming really made me change the perspective of the NJCL and allowed me to think of creative ways to further advance the organization .
What was your favorite campaign event ?
My favorite campaign event was Open Forum . I loved conversing with students from around the country and hearing their feedback on my platform .
What do you think was the strongest part of your campaign ?
The strongest part of my campaign was my new idea called Convocatio .
What in your campaign would you have done differently ?
I would have done a better job of creating posters and advertising myself . This is really a crucial part of spreading the word about who you are as a candidate .
What tips do you have for speeches ?
Don ' t be nervous ! Crack a joke to lighten the mood , and focus on telling your story and your platform .
What ’ s one suggestion you have for candidates running for your office ?
Express yourself as a leader . Being President is all about being able to lead , whether that is leading a meeting , leading other officers , or even leading the entire Convention .
