The winning candidates are publicly announced near the beginning of General Assembly IV . Make sure to also dress well for this GA !
DINNER FOR CURRENT & UPCOMING OFFICERS
THURSDAY , 5:30 PM – 6:00 PM
After GA IV , the upcoming 2024 – 2025 NJCL officers should again go to the 3rd floor of the Rocky Top Dining Hall for dinner with outgoing 2023 – 2024 NJCL officers .
GENERAL ASSEMBLY V
FRIDAY , 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM
At General Assembly V , the upcoming officers are finally sworn in on stage . Make sure to wear Roman attire ( e . g ., a toga ) for “ There ’ s No Place Like Rome ” day !
Once sworn in , you ’ re officially an NJCL officer !
MEETING FOR NJCL / NSCL OFFICERS WITH THE NATIONAL COMMITTEE
FRIDAY , 8:00 PM – 8:45 PM
Now that you ’ re officially an officer , it ’ s time to get to business ! In this very creatively named meeting , the NJCL National Committee ( the adults you ’ ll be working with ) goes over the expectations of being an officer . This meeting is also where you meet and begin planning with your office-specific mentor .
