During the year, Alex serves as Weinstein JCC Youth, Family, and Camp Director as well as Richmond City BBYO Director. Alex loves the outdoors and believes strongly in the power that summer camp has in the growth and development of each child. LaVenus Harried, Assistant Director of Aleph & Activities 545-8639, lharried@weinsteinjcc.org LaVenus has been at Camp Hilbert since 2000 and is excited to work with campers of all ages. During the year, LaVenus works as a programmer and educator at the Weinstein JCC and is the Kids' Place Supervisor. Melissa Bunce, Director of Inclusion and Support Services 545-8658, mbunce@weinsteinjcc.org Melissa coordinates the Weinstein JCC’s Special Needs and Inclusion Initiatives and is involved in staff training. She works with the staff throughout the summer to help facilitate a successful camp experience for all campers. Kelly Johannsen, Aquatics Director 545-8640, kjohannsen@weinsteinjcc.org Kelly has been bringing her expertise and enthusiasm to Camp Hilbert since 2006. When not at camp, Kelly is the Aquatics Director for the Weinstein JCC. Contact her for details about summer swim team at Camp Hilbert and any other aquatics-related questions. Mallory Moore, Summer Aquatics Coordinator mmoore@weinsteinjcc.org Mallory has been attending Camp Hilbert since 2000 and has been on staff since 2009. She has experience with swimmers of all ages and abilities, and works year-round at the JCC Aquatics Center as the lead swim instructor and assistant swim coach. Josh Shenker, Assistant Director of Bet and Special Programs Josh is excited to be back at Camp Hilbert for his seventh summer as a staff member. Josh leads our oldest campers with high energy and positivity. He especially enjoys engaging them with arts and crafts, nature and the great outdoors. 6 8 Melanie Marks, Summer Office and Operations Manager mmarks@weinsteinjcc.org Melanie has been a Weinstein JCC Preschool teacher for 8 years and has worked at Camp Ganim for several seasons. She enjoys watching the children learn, explore and grow into amazing little humans and is very excited to be part of her first summer at Camp Hilbert! PJ George, Rishonim Unit Head PJ has been at Camp Hilbert since 2007 as a lead staff member for the Rishonim group, and has taught 4 and 5-year-olds in the Weinstein JCC preschool for over 10 years. With his infectious enthusiasm, PJ nurtures our youngest campers in the transition from preschool to elementary programs. Ethan Litvin, Judaic Coordinator and Song Leader 545-8609, elitvin@weinsteinjcc.org Ethan is a recent graduate of Randolph Macon College and is   currently the Hillel at VCU Director and Weinstein JCC Assistant Director of Youth and Family Services. He's looking forward to bringing his passion for music and Judaics to camp this summer!
