JUNIOR LIFEGUARD( 10-15 YRS.)

This program offers an introduction to basic aquatic lifesaving! Participants develop leadership abilities and aquatic rescue skills including CPR and first aid, and emergency response. This program provides guidance, challenges and activities to participants who are interested in furthering their experience in lifeguarding.

JUNIOR SQUAD LEADER( 10-15 YRS.)

Have you wondered what it is like to work at Roosevelt Pool? Come find out first hand! In the morning, participants will have the chance to be a Junior Instructor in the morning by assisting with swim lessons, learning how to teach water safety skills and gain hands on experience with swim instructors. In the afternoon, participants will get to learn about lifeguard role.

If you are 15 years old, you may apply to be a lifeguard or swim instructor with the Glenview Park District. Participants should bring a lunch or money to purchase lunch from the concession stand.
