GLENVIEW BOYS LACROSSE CLINIC ( 6-14 YRS .)
The Glenview Park District is pleased to partner with Glenbrook South High School coaches for the Boys Lacrosse Clinic . By instilling a good work ethic , teaching sportsmanship , fostering teamwork and praising accomplishment , the Lacrosse program is committed to developing players to their highest potential , both on and off the field . Participants are divided by skill level and they will learn age-appropriate skills . Beginners will learn fundamentals such as catching , throwing and shooting , as well as basic terminology of the sport . Experienced players will build upon fundamental skills by working on situational play , competitions and game situations . All participants receive a T-shirt . Required Equipment ( hockey equipment may be used ): ( 1 ) helmet , ( 2 ) gloves , ( 3 ) elbow pads , ( 4 ) shoulder pads , ( 5 ) lacrosse stick , ( 6 ) jock-strap / athletic cup , ( 7 ) mouth guard , ( 8 ) athletic cleats .
