COUNSELOR IN TRAINING ( CIT ) ( 13-15 YRS .)
Spend your summer gaining valuable work experience , developing new skills , exploring future career possibilities , working as a team and having fun ! Each CIT will help implement activities and projects under the supervision of the Camp Directors . CITs will accompany their camp during outings and field trips . CIT candidates must successfully complete the four week Saturday morning training course including CPR certification at Park Center and be able to commit to the camp session they are placed in .
TO REGISTER : Submit a completed Camp Registration Form along with ( 1 ) a letter of recommendation from a non-family member ; and ( 2 ) a paragraph that answers the question “ What do you hope to gain from the Counselor in Training program ?” in 300 words or less . A separate camp assignment fee will be required for camp once CITs are assigned . Fees will be $ 1584 for full day camp placement and $ 792 for half day camp placement . Payment information will be communicated to parents once CIT placements are made after the training session .
