CAMP POD-PALOOZA ( 6-12 YRS .)
Experience all the fun camp activities enjoyed in years past . In addition to playing an assortment of active games , sports , arts and crafts , our campers will also be going back on field trips to Glenview Park District facilities , inviting special guests to add to the variety of camp activities and visiting one of our outdoor pools each week ( if swim option is chosen )! When visiting our pools , in addition to open swim time , we are adding swim lessons for campers of ALL swim abilities . Whether your camper is just getting comfortable in the water or on a swim team , our swim lessons will be tailored to their ability . A nut safe lunch will also be provided for full day camps every day at no additional cost . Snacks will be provided for all options . If you choose to bring your own nut safe lunch , you can do so . Each camper receives one T-shirt .
Staff-to-camper ratio is 1:8 . Campers must be 6 years old by 6 / 7 / 21 for the first session and 7 / 12 / 21 for the second session . Fieldhouse locations will be determined in the weeks prior to camp starting . This will allow staff to review the ages of everyone registered to determine how many camp pods there will be and how the ages will be grouped . The goal for both half day and full day pods is to keep children of similar ages together in one pod .
