camp general information
Parent Manuals
Parent camp manuals are emailed at the beginning of June . The manual contains important and useful information about camp , field trips , contact numbers , swimming activities , camp clothes , hours , updated safety guidelines and more . Required forms that must be completed and turned in before the first day of camp are also included in the manual .
Emergency Forms
The Park District does not require children to have a medical examination to attend . Still , it is required to accurately complete and return the emergency forms included in your parent manual . If you have non-medical information regarding your child ( i . e ., phobias , social issues ) you wish our staff to know , please note this on your emergency forms . Please call the camp supervisor listed under each camp section upon registration if your child has medical needs .

Contacting the Office
If your child will be absent from camp , please call your camp director and leave a message before the start of that day ’ s camp . All contact numbers are provided in the Parent & Camper Manual .
Reporting Safety Concerns
The Park District is committed to providing a safe place for recreational activities . We want to know if something concerns you . We encourage you to report safety concerns about our facilities and parks by calling 847.831.3968 . You can leave a message 24 / 7 .
Weekly Camp Newsletter
Our camp newsletters are paperless and emailed to you in keeping with the Park District Green Initiative .
