The Park District “ Good Time Guarantee ” Refund Policy does not apply to camps . Guidelines :
1 . Refund requests may be completed online or in-person at the Recreation Center of Highland Park during desk hours . Online -Log in to your online account and select the My Account menu . Click Activity Cancellations and select the program ( s ) you wish to cancel . Service fees will be assessed according to the schedule listed below . Follow the prompts to checkout . Your refund is not complete until you receive a receipt / confirmation . In-Person – Fill out a Camp Refund Request Form at the Recreation Center of Highland Park . Service fees are assessed according to the schedule listed below . Refund is processed within 3 business days . You will receive confirmation once the refund is complete via email .
2 . Refunds must be requested before the deadlines listed below . Refunds requested after these dates will not be honored .
3 . If a Park District camp is cancelled due to low enrollment , a full refund will be issued . 4 . Registration and the applicable payment are non-transferrable between individuals .
5 . We do our best to issue refunds as quickly as possible , but sometimes delays are necessary to ensure accuracy . Refunds by check can take 2-4-weeks to issue . A refund to your charge card may be processed within 3 business days ; however , the credit may not appear on your statement until the next billing cycle .
Refund Schedule & Service Fees 4 & 7 Week Camps
A refund , less a $ 50 service charge per camper , per camp session , will be given if properly submitted to the Park District before May 1 .
No refunds are granted after May 1 . There are no exceptions to this policy .
Mini & Extended Camps
A refund less a $ 20 service charge per camp session will be given if a camp refund form is submitted to the Park District in person before Jun 11 . No refunds are granted after this date . There are no exceptions to this policy .
The Park District does not carry medical or accident insurance for camp program participants , as the cost would make program fees prohibitive . Please review your own health insurance liability plan to be certain that you and your family have the proper coverage .
Behavior Management Procedures

Information regarding participants enrolled in Park District programs is confidential . For your family ’ s safety , staff will not release information to anyone who is not on your household account .
All camp transfers must be requested before May 1 . If additional fees are required , payment is due at the time of transfer .
Registration and the applicable payment are not transferable between individuals . No refunds are granted after this date . There are no exceptions to this policy .
