DEER CREEK RACQUET CLUB TENNIS ACADEMY
Ages 7-18
Whether you are a serious player or picking up a racquet for the first time , the Academy is a great way to learn the fundamentals , build your endurance , and improve your game in a short period of time .
The Experience :
Daily instruction is served up by our USPTA Tennis Professionals and counselors .
Drills , game situations , and match play are used to improve player skills and strategies . Time slot Is based on levels not age .
Campers are placed within a smaller group at their level . The Head Pro must approve all campers ’ levels to ensure camp cohesiveness .
Safety Requirements
Campers may be required to wear a face covering throughout the day , understand and maintain social distancing , handwashing schedules , and independently complete daily life tasks such as eating , dressing , tying shoes , toileting , and applying their own sunscreen / bug spray . To ensure the safety of everyone , these requirements and the camp structure may be modified as guidance from health experts develops . You will be notified of changes via email as this information becomes available .
Important Info :
Campers should bring a snack , beverage , water thermos , sunscreen , and hat ( optional ) to camp every day .
If it rains , camp is moved indoors to the air-conditioned courts . Parents can check the Rainout Line at pdhp . org .
