INDUSTRY PEOPLE
Civil contractors are the backbone of infrastructure in
New Zealand; they create the heart and veins of our
communities. The veins are the roads, internet, water and
wastewater. Once those those vital services are intact,
communities thrive and the economy can flourish.
Elsewhere, our contractors are involved in transport and
energy, telecommunications, public health, farming and
forestry.
With the announcement from the Labour Party Conference
in Whanganui of a major boost to infrastructure, and
while the final figure is to be finalised as at the time of
publication, it is sure to be a welcome announcement to
all in the sector.
