Elder Nominees
At Calvary Church , the elders give oversight and direction to the church . They meet monthly to prayerfully consider church direction , policy and discipline . If you have questions about Calvary , you are always welcome to direct them to the elders ( elders @ calvarygr . org ). The selection of elders and deacons will take place by casting of lots at the Annual Meeting on September 16 .
Dan and Roxanne have attended Calvary Church for over 35 years . They celebrated 36 years of marriage this year . They have two married daughters and one grandson . Dan has previously served both as a deacon and as an elder . He has served on and chaired various committees . Dan has been a kindergarten and first grade Sunday school

teacher as well as a middle school small group leader . He also served as a mentor in the Leadership Development Forum . Roxanne served for many years in the Children ’ s Ministry as a kindergarten and first grade teacher . Dan and Roxanne currently lead a community group .
I have attended Calvary Church for forty-three years . Ruth and I were married by Pastor Gardner forty years ago . I have been involved at Calvary with various Sunday School classes , served as a Deacon with Pastor Dobson , worked with the greeting teams in the parking lot ,
served at Calvary at Calvin with the DAVE ELLIS set-up & tear-down and golf cart
ministries . Ruth and I have two adult sons who are both married . We have one grandson and another due in October .
Steve and Patty have been attending Calvary for 29 years . They have been married for 41 years . Currently both Steve and Patty serve in the Connection Point each Sunday . Previous involvement for both has been Festival of Lights , Easter Programs , Prayer Room Ministry and serving Communion to shut-ins

and chaired several committees , and missions trip to Puerto Rico with the FLOCK class . Steve has had the opportunity to serve four terms as Deacon ( three at Calvary ) and one previous as Elder .
Dale and his wife , Martha , have attended Calvary Church for 21 years . They have been married 46 years and are blessed to have three married adult children and 10 grandchildren . Dale and Martha have been part of Adult Sunday Classes for many years and have enjoyed opportunities to be part of the Calvary
DALE MCNINCH music ministry over the years . Martha has served in the Apples of Gold ministry and women ’ s bible study . Dale has been co-leader of the Calvary Church Heirs Together Class for eight years . He is currently serving on the Women As Deacons task force committee . Dale has been involved with ministry programs at Mel Totter Ministries for over 15 years . He has led , or been part of , many shortterm mission trips to Honduras over the last 20 years .
