spiritual needs or perhaps their situation in life. Whatever their
reasons are, God welcomes everyone to His house.
I believe the Spirit of God sends people to church, therefore,
our Hospitality Team members are the face and the Body of
Christ to those He sends our way. We are called to be the
seed planters, to prepare the soil for the Holy Spirit to work in
and through our visitors. God has entrusted us to be on the
front lines.
Make no mistake, our Hospitality Teams
are critical to shaping the heart- beat
of our congregation. If we want to be
known in our community as a welcoming/
inviting church, we must set that tone as
our guests and visitors enter our doors.
This not only applies to our Hospitality
Teams, but everyone in our congregation.
Regardless of why an individual makes
the decision to attend our church, it is God’s desire for us to
love them, comfort them, teach them and assist them in any
way to help them grow in their faith and discipleship.
Please consider being part of this very critical ministry as
either a parking lot attendant, greeter, usher, or welcome
station volunteer. When we open our doors at our new
facility, let’s all work together to extend that special Calvary
welcome to all who enter.
