Competitive events You have the rulebook. Now what? by rachel Now that TSA registration has begun, schools across this state will gain access to the official National TSA rulebook, which contains the breakdown of every TSA event. These are the competitions that students will be participating in at the state and national conference. Once a school is able to access this rulebook, I highly encourage students and advisors alike to begin looking through the events, and to get comfortable with the terminology that is used. On our state website, there are two resources that may help you understand the guidelines these rulebooks lay out. The first is our annotated rulebook, which can be found: http://www.californiatsa.org/for-students/annotated-rulebook/. This is a copy of an old event, with annotations throughout the rulebook that highlights guidelines you should look out for, and advice on how to extract the important reminders that are dotted throughout an event guide. The second resource can be found: http://www.californiatsa.org/glossary-ofterms/. In our glossary you can find terms that many rulebooks use, and an explanation of exactly what they mean.
