procrastinating, it is also extremely important that you read the competition rulebook before, while, and after doing your project. The rulebook involves very specific and detailed requirements that, if not met, could disqualify you. Don’t let your event grade go down because you violated one of the rules! Although competitive events are a big part of TSA, you should also consider planning your trip. Make sure to book your hotels and arrange transportations if needed. Finally, look forward to it! You will get a chance to meet new faces and have lots of fun! Why you should consider state office: Being a state officer has been extremely benefitting. It has taught me many things that I couldn’t have learned in a classroom - responsibility, team work, efficiency, time management, and many more. Holding a state office also increases your involvement with TSA, and my position has ensured my heavy involvement despite the heavy school work. This organization has incredible possibilities and opportunities that you may not find outside. Being on the team also gives you close friends that you will always keep in touch with! Special shoutout to State Treasurer, Claire Huang, thanks for being my big sister. I will never forget you and will try to not miss you too much… you have impacted me greatly with your positive attitudes and encouragements.Good luck and have fun at college! I hope these tips and advices will help you guys! As a junior in high school, I’m currently dealing with the struggle of SAT and balancing school with extracurricular. Although I get depressed at times due to failures, I will never give up. This leads to my last advice for this month: never give up, never surrender.
