Membership Update

Serving as the voice of and resource of choice
for California’s municipal Police Chiefs,
is not only our association’s mission statement, it is
something that the volunteers and staff live up to. Cal
Chiefs continues to grow and offer expanded services
and information to remain the resource of choice for our
members. We have developed a new Cal Chiefs Committee
that focuses on emerging issues our members are facing
on a daily basis. Under the committee we currently
have workgroups that pertain to; Body Worn Cameras,
Police Legitimacy and Procedural Justice, 1099 Program,
Sequential Line Ups, UAS, Cyber Security, Active Shooter
(Warm Zones), Contract Cities, and Self Deployment. Each
one of these workgroups has been working on sample
policies and procedures for our members to use in their
own agencies. All information from the workgroups can be
found on the members’ only side of the Cal Chiefs website.
