This page clockwise starting at top: Although my official love for pigs didn’t begin until I was ten, they have always been a part of my life; Doing chores is a necessity, rain or shine. Proper nutrition for our mature ewes is vital; it is a balancing act between keeping them in good condition but not too fat that the lambs need to be pulled. These ewes are scheduled to lamb December 2015; My mom’s love for sheep sparked our involvement. From an early age, Kyler and I would help our mom at the barn feeding, working with sheep, or lamb out ewes. Now she is my agriculture teacher and she’s helped me develop my SAE into what I have today; My very first market lamb, Dusty, was purchased from Mr. Dustin Snyder and was heavier than I was. I was thrilled with the outcome, but so nervous because Mr. Snyder came to watch and I didn’t want to mess up; and Every summer I looked forward to showing at Pee Wee Showmanship at our local county fair. It was a family event with my brother and many cousins. • With the mission to minimize the 487-mile gap between our diverse region in mind, this year the North Coast Region Officer Team is looking forward to implementing chapter visits to each of the 33 chapters in our region. The chapter visits will range from attending chapter banquets,
