DELTA CHARTER FFA A Helping Hand Delta Charter FFA in Tracy is a relatively new chapter. Established in 2015, the chapter has really stepped up their game. Students of Delta Charter High School and our FFA program partake in our monthly community service activities. Since August, students have participated in six community service activities, including everything from raking leaves, cleaning our campuses, and even writing letters to our troops overseas. Delta Charter FFA really believes in helping everyone in our community, for they have given us so much. Our fi rst semester of agricultural education was a success and we look forward to the next one! MCFARLAND FFA 5k Turkey Trot Of all the events the McFarland FFA Chapter hosts, one of our favorites is our annual 5K Turkey Trot held at McFarland High School. This year was our second year hosting this event with the help of our local Cross Country team. Participants ran three miles, going through the city of McFarland. We had over 20 runners participate in this event, the youngest being six years old and the oldest being eighty three years old. The winners of each division received a free Thanksgiving Turkey, our chapter awarded 13 turkeys in total. It is defi nitely one of our favorite events that we as a community come together for.
