FullertonSunny Hills FFA
Fall Festival
Submitted by Emily Colby
On October 24th, the Sunny
Hills FFA Chapter had our
annual Fall Festival to help
raise funds for our chapter. This
event was held on our farm
and included many games and
activities. By attending and volunteering to work shifts, members earned FFA
participation points. At our festival, we had vendors such has henna tattoos,
a craft booth, and a farmers’ market where we sold merchandise and fresh
produce from our school farm. We offered food that included tri-tip, hot dogs,
and different festival foods. Games for the younger children along with activities
like pie-eating contests for students were offered. Over 700 people attended
this event, including families and school administrators. Overall, the festival was
a success, providing a family friendly environment, and resulting in a successful
fundraiser for our chapter!
