Gabby I would like to say thank you to all of the students, many of which have become great friends, families, teachers, and California FFA supporters that have made this past year so memorable for me. I was continually reminded that no matter how different each of our chapters is, all FFA members share a love for being a part of this big crazy family. We all have found a family in the FFA, a family with so much purpose. I am so proud of all the members of California FFA for their hard work. I’m proud not just of the ribbons and awards, but the small accomplishments. Whether it was running for regional office and not getting it, a freshman stepping up as a volunteer during a chapter visit even though they were afraid to embarrass themselves in front of their peers, or the students at state conference who clearly went out of their way to meet as many new people as possible - witnessing those seemingly small acts are what made this year worth it. The love and kindness California FFA has shown me this year makes me so grateful and fulfilled. I hope all California FFA members remember that whether you are from a chapter where your officer team is the only one who shows up to your FFA meetings or you can’t hardly figure out what to do with all the students who want to be involved in FFA activities, you have the power to create a culture of excellence and help others find their purpos
