Censored done before , but this year he was into it . All the hard work resulted in Tuck killing a cow elk on opening day . It wasn ’ t exactly as we had drawn up , but a great conversation was had on preparedness and adapting to a situation . I enjoy connecting hunting lessons to valuable life lessons .
While I loved every shared minute , conversation and experience “ mentoring ” Tuck , it ’ s not enough . If we only replace ourselves in the hunting population and lifecycle , we will go extinct assuredly as any prey species whose offspring production is too small to keep up with attrition .
A FRATERNITY BROTHER ’ S JUMP While I ’ ve become a Gen-X curmudgeon , in my younger days I enjoyed the camaraderie of membership in Phi Delta Theta fraternity . An alumni fraternal community is much like the hunting community in that there are diverse ages , opinions and personalities .
