In January 2015 he left his position at Acmeworks to pursue filmmaking full time. In the first six months, he produced, wrote, directed, and edited his first feature film “Legend of the Lich Lord”. a timely documentary “Aleberta: Our Beer History”. As well the film Sharasaurus, which is now a graphic novel!

Actor/Director, Gerrick Winston was born in Chicago, Illinois. Resides in Calgary, Canada. He started acting in 1996. Recently worked as stunt-double to Danny Glover in the theatrical release, Diablo(2015), with Scott Eastwood and Walton Goggins. Gerrick also is a filmmaker of his own, he has directed short films, Desperate(2015) a film about a man who is in need of a change of heart. His recent projects, Gold and The Lovely Lady just finish shooting!
