According to the Stampede Roundup’s official website, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame cartoon metal band led by Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons will be making their way to Calgary this month o headline this year’s event, which is set for July 13 at Fort Calgary.

Also on the bill are British hard rock veterans The Cult, known for classics such as She Sells Sanctuary and Love Removal Machine, and reunited Canadian pop-rock act Moist, who owned ’90s radio in this nation thanks to songs such as Push and Silver.

Coveted ducats for the “hottest ticket in town,” which is a private party open to sponsors, their clients, staff, tenants and guests — a password is required — and which raises money for the Rotary Club of Calgary, are $120 (plus taxes and service charges) and go on sale at 10 a.m. on April 26 from stampederoundup.com.

There is also a Beat the Box Office pre-sale opportunity from April 19 to 25 on the website for those who have the coveted “Blakes Password.”

Last year’s Stampede Roundup, was their 20th annual, and was a huge success. They featured the acts Journey, Collective Soul and Big Wreck.
