An hour delay to start the race
The wind played once again, with the participating teams. The Regatta Committee announced early on that the race would begin later due to the lack of wind. An hour later, at 12.30pm, the boats started. Before that, the yachtsmen could be seen resting, eating, chatting and hanging out. The technical issue was already solved and they only waited for the Committee to announce the start of the race. The sailors of the “Katusha” were the last to arrive at their boat, but because they decided to wait in the VIP area where that had held a team meeting.
