Graça Estrela, better known as A GRAÇA DAS ARARAS
Plastic artist, Graça Estrela
was born in Ipameri - Goiás, and since he was a teenager, he designed and painted.
They are more than 40 years dealing with paints and 25 years painting only macaws.
In the beginning, academic, then contemporary, in high places.
Throughout these years he has researched and studied macaws. Graça Estrela has already
work in South Korea; Japan; England; Canada (Individual at Gallery National);
Spain in the Tenete; Canary Islands (No Loro Parque): Monique in Germany; Ecuador;
Merida in Mexico; Cartagena in Colombia; in Paris. In France he made
Gallery L'oeil du Prince and the Sala du Carrousel du Louvre, Russia in Vadadetstok
Latin Arts Week: participated in the International Arts Fair of Miami in
USA in 2013: and in Brazil he worked in São Paulo, Brasília. Palms Manaus and
Goiânia.
In Paris, in 2012 he attended the painting and drawing course at the National Superior School
of Fine Arts conquering two diplomas. He had his paintings displayed at school.
In 2014 participated in the Latin Week of Arts in Paris in Bastille in '' Le Barrio Latino ''
in homage to Brazil
In 2015 he made a presentation at the Court of Justice of the State of Goiás
from the 11th to the 31st of March. showing the Grace of the Macaws.
Also in 2015 in New York at the PIER 94 12th Ave International Expoart 2015 with stand
of nº S618 from the 14th to the 17th of April. Received several prizes 'Medal of Araguaia'
of the Government of Goiás in the Legislative Assembly of Goiás in 2002 and the Medal of the Anhanguera
by the Government of Goiás. In 2004 its Screen Nest of Araras received the Gold Medal in Paris,
exhibited at Galena Mansart. In 2007 he also received in Paris the Silver Medal of the Academy
French of Arts, Sciences and Letters by the work and defense of the macaws. In Germany, Japan,
France, South Korea and Russia, taught arts courses for children and gave speaking talks
the preservation and defense of macaws. Graça Estrela is participating in the Galena Nocturna Project
of the Municipal Secretary of Goiânia.
Today Graça Estrela makes plans to edit a book and make a documentary about her work,
intends to transfer his residence to Paris, where he wants to spend some time doing art.
