Oyster Card
An Oyster card is a smartcard that can be topped up with pay as
you go credit and is the cheapest way to pay for single journey’s
on bus, tube, tram, DLR, London Overground and National Rail
services in London.
Adding credit:
• Online at tfl.gov.uk/oyster
• At Oyster Ticket Stops
• At Tube and London Overground touchscreen ticket machines
and station ticket offices
• At London Travel Information Centres
• At DLR touchscreen ticket machines
• At some National Rail touchscreen ticket machines
Underground signs are shown on maps and outside tube
stations
Oyster cards can be purchased (leaving a £5 refundable deposit)
at Oyster Ticket Stops, from Tube and London Overground station
ticket offices or London Travel Information Centres.
