Welcome to the Summer edition of the
Australian Cake Decorating Network's
e-magazine, Cake!
In the fourth free issue published by the
Australian Cake Decorating Network,
we are pleased to be bringing the focus
of the magazine back on to Australian
decorators and our members to promote
the incredible talent we have here in
Australia - which is the whole purpose of
the Australian Cake Decorating Network!
I'd like to thank the huge amount of
you who sent messages and emails
of support over the past few months.
The decision to return the e-mag to
being free was a big one (but we know
everyone loves something for free!)
and we are so pleased to be able to
share all of this cake-goodness with the
wider readership that a free magazine
generates - that ultimately means better
exposure for our contributors and
featured decorators!

Obviously there is a lot of work that goes
in to each issue and we can only publish
Cake! for free with the support of our
fabulous advertisers. So please support
them too!
We've embraced Summer this issue with
a collection of bright and fun cakes and
parties. We worked with Confetti Fair to
find some incredible party stylists for
our party gallery and had hundreds of
submissions from ACDN members for
our member gallery. We also caught
up with many of Australia's favourite
decorators, some of which we'll have
the chance to meet in person at the
Cake Bake & Sweets Show coming up
in March (Sydney). I hope to meet lots of
you in person there too!

Liz Wright editor
Liz is the editor of ACDN's e-magazine,
Cake! and founder of the Australian
Cake Decorating Network. Liz grew up
surrounded by cake, spending hours upon
hours watching her mum create stunning
wedding cakes (in the days of extension
work and intricate piping!).
Liz is excited to have the opportunity to
use the ACDN to showcase the incredbile
talent we have here in Australia and bring
decorators together through the network
both online and at ACDN events .

Kellie discovered the world of cakes 8
years ago. Since then she has worked
alongside pastry chefs as a head decorator
for an established cake company. Kellie
has recently started her own couture cake
business and joined the ACDN team in 2013.

Television reporter and mother of two,
Marianna has combined her love for cake
decorating and journalism. Her mission
is to bring Cake! readers the latest cake
news and interviews with decorators from
around the globe.
