letter from the editor
It's that time of year again - our favourite
season! The warm weather is back and
it's time to CELEBRATE! Welcome to the
4th issue of Cake! Magazine for 2020.
We have had a very busy year, with
our Cake Camp in Blue Mountains in
August and our 2019 Cake Decorating
& Baking Industry Awards Night on 9th
November 2019, as well as working on
several new events and exciting plans
for 2020!
Our 2019 Awards Night was a huge
success, we had a room full of cake
decorators and bakers from across
Australia and several international
guests. Congratulations to all of our
finalists and winners! Read our event
wrapup on page 82 to see winners of
our 2019 Awards.
We are busy planning our next big
event, LA Cake Crawl (May 2020) and
we have just 5 spots remaining! Get your
passport ready... this will be a cake trip
of a lifetime! (See page 78 for details)
In this issue of Cake! Magazine we
celebrate our favourite time of the year
- Christmas - with a range of Cakes &
Bakes from Australian and international
decorators.
We interview Prachi Dhabal Deb about
her new product and catch up with
Amber Comadira-Smith with her regular
column for Cake! Magazine - Business
Basics.
Enjoy!
