modelling paste, roll
out two sausages onto
some wire. Pinch the
sausages in at the knees
and at the bottom of the
calves.
Step 19:
Place a green body onto
the wrapped wire and
pinch in a waist. Make
sure the chest is wider
than the waist. Step 20:
Step 21: Step 22: Step 23:
Wrap the sugar strip around the waist of the elf.
Add a little belt using a black strip of fondant and
a small yellow square of fondant. On top of the
yellow buckle add a smaller black square.
Next, insert some wire into a ball of white modelling
paste and roll out a sugar arm. Make a matching
second arm and attach the arms onto the body. To make the hands, roll
out a wrist and press
down to make a palm
shape. Roll out thin
sausages for the fingers.
Make little marks along
the fingers for the bends
in each finger. Place the fingers onto
a palm using a bit of
water to help them stick.
Smooth the fingers to
the palm and mark the
creases of the palm
using a small rubber
tipped shaping tool.
Step 18:
Stand the legs up onto
a foam block and wrap
the ends of the wires
together.
Roll out a length of
green fondant and make
some little cuts 1cm
apart.
