Chocolate mud cake
Ganache
7” MDF cake boards (2)
Go Between or equivalent
Sticky tape
Set up board
Cake scraper
Spatula
200 grams red fondant
200 grams white fondant
Template (provided)
Sugar syrup
Pastry brush
Rolling pin
Pasta machine
Scalpel blade
Metal ruler
Cake scrapers (2)
Acetate sheet
Small brush
7” pie template
Hands down Christmas is my most favourite time of the year. I remember when I
was about 5 I found a piece of white cotton on the end of Grandpa’s bed. “It’s from
Santa’s whiskers” he exclaimed. I think my eyes nearly popped right out of my head.
Now I get to witness that same look of pure excitement on my own children’s faces.
Nothing on earth beats the sound of laughter and excitement from
Owen and Macy on Christmas morning.
